Launch Your STEM Career

The Talent Diversity Network (TDN) is a network of community-based organizations, education partners, and employers partnering to empower and support diverse talent in the pursuit of STEM careers. TDN connects students to paid internships at some of San Diego’s most innovative companies. Additional perks includes mentorship, career training, and networking opportunities.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Who should join?

Underrepresented college or graduate students pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field who want to find an internship or career opportunity in San Diego.

Support Services

The first step in being successful is helping meet your needs. TDN works with community-based organizations to help provide you with the resources you need to give you the best chance of landing the opportunity (e.g., transportation, clothing, food).

Paid Internships

Gain meaningful work experience at a STEM-driven company. Our goal is to identify and connect you with paid internships at life science companies, research institutes, or tech-related organizations.

Events & Networking

TDN also hosts interactive events and workshops to help you build communication skills and social capital with workshops and events, such as resume reviews, mock interviews, and networking opportunities.

Mentorship

Interns have access to STEM-focused professionals for mentorship. Our unique mentorship program allows students to meet with STEM professionals outside of their internships to gain their unique perspectives, advice, and personal insights.
